Pokémon GO App Reviews

Its very addicting, but there are a few issues Ive recently come across. I recently defeated a red Gym and I exited to revive my Pokemon so I could put it in the Gym. It bugged out in the middle of the transition where you exit, and I didnt think much of it, so I just killed the app and restarted it. When I came back, the button to add your Pokemon to the Gym was grey and it said it was under attack. There was no one else in the area, though. I killed the app and restarted several times. Its still not working. Please fix this.

Its fun but you cant play it from your house and it takes forever for more pokemon to pop up, also they update way to often.

The game has improved but there are still big bad bugs that get in the way. 1. I get errors when trying to take over gyms sometimes. Itll say "GO!" And act like the battle will start then give me an error. This is very irritating when youve been working at a gym for awhile and you cant finish that pesky leftover Pokémon that you had to heal before fighting. 2. Remove Gligar from 10ks! This is disappointing and irritating since he has no usefulness and his evolution hasnt been added. 3. Add the evolutions of Pokémon that didnt come until later generations so Pokémon can have their usefulness and change the metagame (example: Eevee, GLIGAR, Tangela, Magneton, Misdreavus, etc.)

I think when we win a battle we should get two more raid passes so we get more powerful Pokémon so please fix this Pokémon go

Best game ever! Everything is good but when I try to catch a paras my game freezes?

Its so awesome I love Pokémon so if you love Pokémon i recommend it to you fans its simple but is still amazing I just wish more updates should come sooner like gen 3 needs to come out soon

ive tried multiple times to download it. im connected to my wifi and still wont work

This game is fun and great to play, but would draw me in more and have more longevity if there were a social element where you could have a friends list with some bonuses for having friends or guilds or parties or something to make it more than just a 99% single player game.

I was reading reviews and I came across a lot of one stars. They said that the game has a horrible coin

The game is amazingly fun to play, and with regular updates new features are being added quite often. The new gym and raid system has me leaving the house and walking around more than usual, which is fantastic. ^_^

update is bs do you guys really think 17!!!!! people are gonna battle a raid!!!! i have lost 2 raids now because of time!!!! make the time given based on the number of people!!!!! idiots

I downloaded this game to have fun and catch Pokémon, spin Pokéstops, and capture gyms... Now, it blows because of these stupid unnecessary updates. Yeah, I get you wanna keep drivers safe... but have thought about THE PASSENGERS?! No, of course not... Its not just that, its the fact that no rare Pokémon spawn where I am. Apparently Im not privileged enough... forget this game.

After I finally got an account it crashes and every time I try to open it it crashes

There are way too many bugs to squash along with straight up nonsense to fix. Mystic and I held a gym for 2 days straight, almost 3, and when Rhydon came back, I got absolutely nothing for it. Whats up with golden raspberries giving me "Error" every time I try to feed one? Just tell me whats wrong. Why does every Pokémon, no matter how strong or weak, always take 3 tries to defeat? Why can trainers level 5 defend gyms when all they leave is a 100 CP Magikarp thats nothing but a waste of a defender? Great update with the raids and new gym system in general, but theres too much wrong to consider it enjoyable. If anything, Its just frustrating.

I have been playing this since the week after it came out and I am level 32, although in the past I came to realize Niantic doesnt care what people tell them I will say that they are sorta destroying the purpose and need to make trackers a bit harder to use. Why I gave this a five star rating was because it is an addictive game and fun to play with others, the new raids update did ruin a bit of the gym but also helped... please fix the problem where if you take out a gym you have to wait 7 minutes about to add your friends account that wasnt battling in... please go back to old trackers, that was more fun now you know exactly where the Pokémon is instead of searching your just walking to a location to get something, in my case that is normally a murkrow or sneasel which need to be a bit easier to catch for some trash. pls add a new. Update that will make people play again I cant do raids without bigger teams and please make it easier to catch raid bosses, 6/10 raids have ran for me and most of the ones that ran were lower level than the 4 I caught.

Ive been off and one since day one and although all my friends have stopped playing Im about done myself. Pokémon are focused on major cities and tourist traps instead of unique places to explore. The bugs still persist and although they added a different way of seeing Pokémon at stops you cant track. The three step glitch even now was never fixed 1 year later. There arent as many errors but theyre still there rarely. Pokestops dont reset like they used to. The raids are exclusive to high level players and you have to buy passes. You also dont get coins like before. If you have a Pokémon in a gym you only get 50 coins regardless of how long it was in the gym. 2 or more kicked out on 1 day after both were in their gyms for more than 24 hours? You only get 50 coins. Ive all but given up on what this was. Too money hungry for me to play any more.

When i open the game it says "failed to log in" anyway yall can fix that niantic

This games hype has died down because of the greed of the developers, which most apps seem to suffer from at some point or another. Suggestions: Fix Raids, Gen 3, Less Money-Grabs

While an amazing addition to the game, the gap of difficulty between level 1-2 raids and 3-4 raids is ridiculous. A level 2 raid takes me about 45s max to beat solo. While a level 3 raid boss is literally impossible to beat by yourself. Not because my Pokémon arent good enough, theres simply not enough time. No Pokémon in the game can deal enough DPS to the raid boss to beat it in time. This is the Blissey problem all over again. Even when I show up as soon as the raid starts Im the only one there. The Silph Radio while an amazing tool has one big problem... nobody uses it.

I would very much enjoy having the legendary Pokémon from gen 1 implemented and more pokéball spawning for pokéstops. Not to mention program and tackle the challenge of adding the full johto dex. Make the johto starters hatchable.
