IT IS UNSESSAVE AND NO ONE SHOULD PLAY IT

Its the 1 year anniversary, and what do they do? They put a bundle of items on sale that isnt really on sale. They bring out a Pikachu with another stupid hat, but wont give us legendaries or even fix the app. This company is so horrible.

Love the new update with revamped gyms and raids. It has me playing a lot more. Overall its a great game. However, the anniversary box "deal" is so insulting it has tilted me to the point of updating my review to one star. I dont want a better deal. Just take this one away. Packaging up content and offering it at no discount annoys me just enough to come leave a bad review. Had there been no "deal" at all I wouldnt have bothered. Keep up the updates, though, I love the game. Oh, and fix all the crashing when you get a chance. No rush.

I like the new Raid Battle feature! Thanks Niantic for now enabling Raid Battles for Lv24 trainers like me! I havent done a Raid Battle before but I hope to participate in one soon! ?

I would give it 5 stars but in the new update is an anniversary box and a pika I with a hat what is this niantic improve the game adding trading

Pokémon go is a great game. Niantic has done a great job improving the game over time. I really like the new raid feature. However with that update there are things that I dont like about it. First of all when participating in raids I would like a way to back out of the raid with out loosing my raid pass. Secondly I would like to have opportunities to earn more raid passes then just one daily. For example a good way to do that would be if you defend a gym for one day you should earn a premium raid passes. Another thing I dont like about the new update is the gym dynamics. I live in a very small neighborhood with only 2 gyms within walking distance of me. The gyms are always completely filled with 6 other trainers making it very hard to add one of my Pokémons to a gym. I think the maximum gym level should be raised at least to level 8. Another thing I dont like about the new gym dynamics is the coin limit. 50 coins is way to little. Especially if all your Pokémon are knocked out at the same time. Lets say you have 5 Pokémon holding down gyms then and they have been there for 5 days. Then all of a sudden they all get knocked out. Now you only get 50 coins which is the same reward as keeping 1 Pokémon in a gym for 8 hours. Because of that after 8 hours players are wanting to take the Pokémons out so they can get more coins because its basically useless keeping them in a gym. Players also have no option of rather to take there Pokémon out so they are forced to hope that someone else attacks there gym so they can get there Pokémon back. That is the opposite of what Pokémon trainers want to think. It would be nice if there was a way to take your Pokémon out of a gym and replace with another one. It would also be nice if instead of a 50 poke coin flat limit you guys should do a 50 coin per day for Pokémon limit. So each Pokémon earns 50 coins per day for being in a gym. So if you have 2 Pokémon in a gym for 2 days each Pokémon would earn 100 coins adding up to 200 coins in total instead of just 50 coins. Like I said you guys have done a great job fixing glitches and making the game better but if you fixed the problems that I mentioned then your game will be an excellent game and an overall 5 star game.

This game turned into a cash grab that hardly seems worth the time I put in nonetheless actual money for insignificant rng probabilities. This game is less fun with each update and is inundated with bugs and glitches that havent been fixed since the first days. These people have clearly never played the game to let this stuff slide

This game is so fun I play it everyday everywhere but this game needs trading

Took a many month break and came back to little to no improvement. New gyms put a huge part of the game behind a pay wall with purchasable passes that let you participate. Training at gyms is gone so thats a bummer. Game is fun when it works. Too bad it crashes when interacting with gyms or when swiping some stops. Save your money and dont waste a dollar on this game.

New update in summary: added new bugs, re-enabled gym griefing, and introduced a pay-to-play cash wall. F TBH, PoGo is a fun game, despite everything Niantic does to ruin it, every chance they get. Never played a game that has me walking as much or shaking my head at as many stupid decisions as these guys make.

The system for catching Pokemon and then leveling with candies (i.e., catching the same Pokemon over and over) is interesting and I have no problems with it. Its refreshingly different. The whole game really is fun. When it works. Which is not often. Commonly has server issues, many times seemingly at random and in areas of good coverage. Also lacks several promised features, such as the ability to play with/trade with/battle friends. Thats not a comparison to old games thats simply a thing that was promised that was not delivered. At this point though the server issues are paramount. Nothing is more annoying than trying to find Pokemon with friends and then half of your phones disconnect and then thirty seconds later the rest of you disconnect as well. EDIT: Now we have raids and a new gym system. Disconnects are not as frequent. HOWEVER, the game still frequently crashes if you tell it to do more than one thing within about 10-15 seconds. Also the updated system for checking speed is awful. I have literally been walking down a sidewalk and it tells me Im moving too fast and subsequently will not allow me to get pokestops or catch anything (because it despawns all the Pokémon on the map). I understand the need for a system that doesnt allow people to play while driving, but I frequently played as a passenger in a car or on a bus. So thanks for punishing me and those like me when we did nothing wrong. Also, the speed-gauging system bugging out and thinking Im somehow running at 40mph seems to often precede crashes. Basically, the game is fun and now mostly playable, but several features have been added (speed gating) that make it significantly more annoying, and it still crashes with startling regularity given how long its been out. 3/5 for that. Also the game loses a star for its irregular content. Most games that are good and successful with so large a player base regularly run events to keep players invested. Weve had several events lately, but those were after long, LONGN stretches of nothing. So -1 to 2/5.

This game use to be a lot of fun the with the whole driving question CONSTANTLY popping up (even when I am sitting in my back yard) I decided to hang in, but now it just rips you off. I bought coins to buy a bigger backpack & it took my money but never gave me a bigger backpack. I believe it may be time for Pokémon to get deleted.

The game is fun, the problem is when I first open the game Pokémon will show up and often pop up but then as soon as I go to tap on it they all disappear and everything goes away for awhile, sometimes they will come back and disappear again. Its also unfair, I live in a country environment, all my city friends sit on there couch and catch awesome Pokémon if I walk down the road I might be lucky to get a eve. Also, why isnt there a why to convert k/m most of us are in the USA and use the mile system.

Only things I dont like is that theres not much, if any, Pokémon in rural areas. The other thing is you can only get Pokécoins by paying, no chance of getting a couple randomly.

Takes 584378 years to load so you cant exit even to change a song. Cant play in the car as a passenger which is incredibly annoying. Thankfully the tracker is fixed but that is the only improvement and is negated by the insane loading time.

they need trading and possibly the ability to see other trainers on the map

Pokemon go looks really fun to play But it doesnt work on my iPod so it would be awesome if you could make it so I could play pokemon go on my iPod touch.

Pokémon go would be worth playing again if you could have friendly battles with friends.That would make the game more competitive and fun to play
