Pokémon GO App Reviews

After the last two new updates I have not been able to log on with my google account on my device. It keeps telling me unable to authenticate. I have deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing. I always close down my app. This is really bothering me. I enjoy playing the game and not being able to get on has really made me want to give up on this game.

Ever since the latest update, my game hasnt loaded, at all. I get as far as the black and white Niantic screen and it stops.

This game is much better than it once was

Really disappointed that Niantic still has not fixed serious issues that the app still crashes frequently when playing, and freezes occasionally when its launching. Ive never seen an app which crashes quite often like this. Technical capability looks too low. よくこの内容・完成度・品質でリリースしたなぁと。 質素で不親切、作り込みも雑。探して集めるゲームなのにアシスト機能もないなんて。 アプリそのものもバックエンドも貧弱過ぎて問題多数。 何が起きようと何のアナウンスもない、やる気のまったく見えないお粗末な運営スタイル。 良くも悪くも海外アプリでした。 こんな中途半端なサービスに課金させようというのが恐れ入ります。 これではノータッチな任天堂のイメージさえも悪くなってしまうのでは。 やりたいことの1割しか実現していないらしいですが、その割に更新内容が毎回お粗末。 どうでもいいアップデートばかりで、フリーズや頻繁なクラッシュという致命的な欠陥はずっと残ったまま。 とりあえずちゃんとテストしてからリリースしてください。 技術力も企画力も低すぎます。

The game is fun on and off. Wish it had more consistency.

Dont know what happened

The Pokémon keep disappearing more frequently. Super annoying when you finally get to one and it just goes bye-bye!

The app on the watch should allow you to specifically turn of the heart rate monitor for the Pokémon go app. Pokémon go app on my Apple Watch prevents my workout app from reading my heart rate when both apps are simultaneously running. Pokémon go does not need to read my heart rate.

Unable to play, pokemon will not spawn and niantic wont help. I really enjoy this game but cant play where we live. Unfortunate..

When I had to get my account activated, the verification needed to know way too much information about me. And I dont know what they are using it for.

So done with this garbage and its lack of features and attention from the devs. Such wasted potential.

Im done. It was fun at first. However, now that Niantic wants to act like the police and restrict so much stuff it completely lost its charm. I have uninstalled it. It is no longer fun. It really is none of your business when and where people play the game. I can see why people use cheats. If I ever play this again I will be installing the cheat and play this however I want.

Freezing seems to be mostly fixed, have had issues where the game is unresponsive and I have to restart it to get it to work again. They do need to deal with the GPS cheaters though, there is too much of that in the game now. Trading will hopefully come soon, then maybe local pvp battles, would be a good touch. Once the cheaters get removed or Niantic finds a way to prevent most of that crap from happening I will rate it better.

This would be a good Apple Watch app but it crashes about 3 out of 4 times I use it. Ive tried everything from reinstalling to rebooting and nothing works. I thought the developers would have fixed this by now. Terrible.
