I cant catch a single Pokémon any more and they all run away after one pokeball. The poke stops stopped working too. I am getting frustrated and this started happening today. None of the troubleshooting methods worked. :(

Its like the executives at Niantic sit in their office asking how many people can I get to stop playing this game today.
Ive really enjoyed this game and play it everyday since last June. Been a lot of fun. Its taken me a little over two months to get from level 27 to 28. You know Im not planning on playing this game for the next ten years! If they dont make leveling up faster Im moving on. The longer you play this game the more perks you should get. Also the gyms should reset themselves after so long. I live in a college town and all the gyms in my area are level 52,000 and theres no reason to even bother playing that part anymore.
Almost a year into playing and still in love with this game, Ive quite once or twice sure, but they release updates semi frequently that will pull you back to your Pokémon go troop
Really nice game, but in my Village are no Poke Monsters, i must drive in the next Town, to catch em all
Crush every time when I launch this app...cant even play!

Close to Level 35. Been a long, tedious journey but here I am still playing loyally... pulling into parking lots for pokestops & being questioned & suspicioned by bystanders & cops, explaining to them "Im only playing Pokémon go!" Heres what I dislike about the game... SAME POKÉMON on every gym: Rhydons, Gyarados, Dragonite, Tyranitar, Snorlax, Vaporeon, & Blissy. Why? CP? Maybe Niantic should program the ladders of gyms to stand its order by way of "IV" strength for that particular Pokémon. If I have the STRONGEST Typhlosion for its species, it should be on top of the gym even if theres a higher CP Rhydon in the same gym. Also, Niantic programming believes it HELPS the "no-drive-and-play" cause for less car accidents... no no no... youre actually helping to CAUSE MORE accidents with your programming. There is no way to play this game without driving past enough pokestops to collect enough pokeballs often enough to play this game effectively. NO WAY. Were not going to live our lives driving to parks & walking through the same 2 or 3 pokestops repeatedly & be able survive in this game trying to catch a programmed 137 CP NASTY Pikachu that jumps out of 5 berries, 4 pokeballs, 3 great balls, 1 ultra ball & then runs away. NO WAY to get enough pokeballs to keep up without driving by pokestops to collect. And we CAN NOT pull over where many of these stops are located in the middle of the day in the midst of traffic. Its a major investment in time & gasoline. We can NOT creep around at night to visit these places. Ive had WAY too many run-ins with police. Maybe you SELL pokeballs this way, but This becomes NOT a fun game when a NASTY Pokémon steals balls as often as they do to regard the time one invests to drive out to distant Pokestops or pay money for balls. Overall... Same ol same ol... I guess we gotta burn out sometime right? Are you okay with that? Fix the gyms somehow guys. Make gyms value OTHER Pokémon to defend them; not just Rhydon & Dragonite. Let us battle our friends somehow... I want to see my strong Golem & Machamp & Blastoise defend gyms! But they get the bottom of Gyms & get booted out quickly. I wanna battle more, but I gotta go drive to the same old churches. lame :/ Sorry guys. Im devoted. But I rate two stars for lack of creative vision lately to keep the game exciting for players at high levels. The events are great! But...fix these problems. I feel like if I was on the creative team, I could do better with my empathy for having played this game as seriously as I have for as long as I have. Sorry but I feel that way.
Ive tried over 20 times
For one thing, on the watch app you start it, and it ends, repeat 4-5 times to eventually get it to start counting. Then sometimes it keeps track and sometimes it doesnt. Just recently walked 5km, it recognized it on the main counter, but not on the egg, nor the partner Pokémon. With the full app itself, its just gotten boring. Trekked all over through various counties, and cities. Nothing but nidorans, pidgies, and cubones. Gen 2s appeared for maybe a week then back to just those three. How about some more variety? Maybe find something different on the beaches sometimes but the infiltration of nidorans and pidgies is there too. Ive literally evolved nidoking and nidoqueen more times than I care to. Then theres occasionally a wonderful bug where you trade several Pokémon in, and it doesnt give you the candies! Another frustrating one is the gps is screwy. See a Pokémon one you really want or need, during the battle youre just about to catch it, and ...... error! The screwy gps just launched you across town. "Youre going too fast!" Well no duh, I just traveled 500 miles faster than a fighter jet!. Its not the phones gps, it can trace movement just walking around my inside my garage. Niantic, is it so difficult to have the app read the M chip for travel data so the app doesnt have to be running while hiking? Battery save mode is just useless, hiking up a mountain and the phone is breathing fire, the app sucking up battery like a 454 v8 (it draws more power than navigation running with music playing), and being 90 degrees out doesnt help it. The A10 has these wonderful little low power cores that can sip power, measure distance and pack that info away with the screen fully off for the app to collect freely when it is re-opened. A suggestion too, how about a portion of the app where you interact with the Pokémon more sort of like the amie/refresh system was. Plenty of power, and inputs in the iPhone to do much more with Pokémon than the 3ds ever could. Oh and esp as gen 3 comes around can we please up the ante on ghosts showing up. Im a ghost man.
I have had some issues with tracking how much Ive walked but my main concerns storage. I dont go to Pokémon gyms often and end up accumulating a bunch of potions and super potions. Instead of throwing them out of my bag, can we trade them in for Poke Coins like we do in the games? Additionally, I want a counter to appear for when I catch Pokémon to tell me if I already caught that Pokémon or not. I end up with so many of one Pokémon that I dont want it taking up space Im saving for when the next generation arises.
According to the history of the Johto region a Pokémon #000 MissingNo. showed up and people went nuts! It would be great if that happened again! He was a "cool legendary mistake" that everybody wanted! I dont even care about his glitch with the 6 item slot, I just figured since you add shiny and gender Pokémon you might want to have the full list and add the "peoples" Pokémon (the one that people somehow made )to that list. What do you guys say? #Niantic
For what it is, this game is pretty successful and promptly managed for glitches. Its not perfect but definitely a worth while fun download for kids, and all ages. Just pay attention to where youre going when you play it.
Im really enjoying the game but I have an idea for a small update. If you made it to where when you have a lucky egg activated and/or an incense activated, you should be able to pause the time of them and un pause it when you are ready.
Sometimes the game will crash EVERY time you start it, until you delete and download again.
People still play this????? ???????????????
Cool game, but are bikes not a physical form of exercise? Bike riding was in the trailer for its release. Just let me hatch eggs while biking; I know there are obviously problems with that, but putting something in a trailer that you dont deliver is lying and ultimately immoral. Nonetheless frustrating.
The Water Festival event was a lot of fun. We need more of that more often. Niantic has improved a few small things here and there. The extra candies for catching evolutionary forms give incentive to actually catch some tougher mon. The pinap berry is also a welcome addition helping to speed up the grinding for candy. But there is still a long way to go and glaring problems that still need fixing. The gym/battling system is simply broken. "CP" should be scrapped altogether. CP highly favors attack power and Pokémon attackers. There is no incentive to put a 2000 CP Umbreon into a gym when its going to get knocked out first over a nearly 3000 CP Espeon and anything else in between. Although Umbreon has the clear advantage due to type and a strong defense stat. For this reason you see a lot of the same Pokémon in gyms. A well statted Pikachu would hold its ground against a Gyarados in a Pokémon game because of type advantage but why would I ever use one after catching it in Pokémon GO? The game basically forces you to use Raichu due to the huge difference in CP, or any other higher CP mon. Taking down a gym should focus on attacking with the correct party whereas holding a gym should favor using natural defenders and a diverse type of party. What if your position in the gym was dependent on how much gym prestige points you attributed to leveling it up? Somebody who gets 10,000 prestige points should be gym leader, followed by the person who got 5,000, then the guy who got 1,000 just to throw his own Pokémon in real quick. This would give incentive for players to stick around and battle for longer at a gym and would really enhance that MMO aspect of the game. You would want to keep battling to help your team hold the gym, but also be the last one to get knocked out. Just please do away with that crippling CP number stat. It really hinders potential. Professor Willow has no purpose or character other than telling you the tutorial. It would be cool if he sent us on some adventures for his studies. I.e. catch 10 fire type Pokémon; feed 5 razzberries to wild Pokémon; or snap a photo of a ghost type Pokémon. Theres a lot of potential here to send players on some cool adventures via quests for possible rewards. There should still be a way to play the game at the end of the day from home. At 12am when its too late to go walking around. Yes, I know the game is about going out and exploring, but it shouldnt be completely unplayable otherwise. Players shouldnt be penalized for the time of day they are able or willing to play your game. It should be fun, be worth playing and progressing at any time. Give me some sort of way to hatch eggs in place, albeit slower than walking with an incubator. Give me a Pokémon spawn at my location for tapping the grass at my location 1,000 times. Anything that I can do to play and feel a sense of achievement. Incense isnt really worth it since a Pokémon only spawns every 4 min or so. It would be a cool feature if you could feed your Buddy Pokémon once a day, any one of your berries to make it happy and drop an extra Candy. Basically, every 21 hrs your buddy is with you (like holding a gym) you feed it when it gets hungry to collect your Candy reward. This would make the berries you collect, as well as the Buddy feature more important and a little more interactive. It would give players a reason to turn the app on at least once a day to play, whether or not they lose or care about their catch/Pokéstop streak. More importantly, its a good break from that boring mass evolution and grinding of Pidgeys. Players should be able to progress towards that evolution that they REALLY want--which is their Buddy Pokémon obviously! Thats the best moment of the game for everyone, right? Lastly, please fix the annoying speed cap pop ups every minute while in a vehicle. Everyone is always a passenger anyway, dont you know that? Once is enough. These are just a few issues and recommendations. Thank you for the improvements thus far. Keep on GOing, Niantic. Update: -1 star for stagnation. No recent updates or notable changes to the game for over a month now.
Niantic and Pokémon are trying to make this game as best as they can. And I must say they are doing amazing at that. Really fun, exercisable game to play! Keep it up Niantic!
I love this app but I would like it more if we could put a poke stop in front of are House so for the people like me to live out in the country away from any town or city would have a way to get more stuff so we would have the same opportunities as the people who live in town
