Pokémon GO App Reviews

This game is VERY fun, but I am suggesting just one tweak. It would be cool to see your Pokémon buddy walking beside your avatar. Sometimes I imagine my buddy, Umbreon, walking beside me. Otherwise, this is the BEST game ever!!

It lemme catch Pokémon earlier but now I had almost 20 encountered Pokémon and they all fled after 1 or 2 roles.. Can sm1 fix this please!?

Stops workouts and doesnt communicate with the app as advertised.

Freeze at launch in 95 % of the cases on my iPhone 5c. It is going on for several weeks. The ONLY way to start it is : 1) force quit the app (mandatory) 2) in the settings app, disable localization for pokemon go 3) start pokemon go 4) once pokemon go started, go to the settings app and reenable localization 5) go back to pokemon go : it should work. Would be a fine idea to fix that bug...

The way the app is being updated to add items to purchase is what kills every other game. Instead of focusing on fixing the crashes and bugs theyre focusing on making more money. They killed most spawn points. The new items to evolve pokemon will not even come out so dont hold your breath. If you download, dont expect to enjoy it.

This game is awesome and makes me want to catch every single Pokémon in the pokedex

So I just leveled up in this game and Im very upset about the items I just received, REALLY!!?? I get better items in some poke stops then spending time leveling up thats crap you need to give out some new items such as the involving materials you need for these new Pokémon youve added with the Johto generation but why bother taking the time to write this review when some loyal fans should deserve better,but hey its all about money for you guys right prove people wrong give back you know you can just do it!

Niantic have done a lot better with their updates over the last couple of months. Hopefully they continue to improve

I used to enjoy this game but, I got so bored with it. I dont understand why Pokemon is so popular now. I cant even play the new games (sun and moon) without turning off the game due to boredom. I enjoy the older games, older TV-shows and the older cards. I just cant stand new pokemon. If you like Pokemon, this game would be for you.

Well I stopped playing in November and decided to play again now. Pros: more stable -gen 2 so more Pokémon to catch -the daily bonuses for catching and pokestops -more candies for evolution stages when catching them - still has that nostalgia feeling and is unique and does keep me engaged when I do play Cons -battery drain is still there -the incenses are still broken -gyms are not great - no battling wild Pokémon or other peoples Pokémon -no trading yet -poke balls being empty is quite frustrating If the developers are reading this, I hope they could add something like the GTS for trading. That could help with some fears but still allow trading in the meantime while they work on the proximity trading. Id also recommend going back to the classic battling system, having the basics for battling any Pokémon, lowering health and using poke balls to catch them. The battling would help counter the issue of stardust, and would help level lower level CP Pokémon level up and also could get items from battles and such. This would make good uses of the pidgey, ratatta, etc. and any common Pokémon. And when you transfer Pokémon give 100 stardust each. Id also recommend somehow recycling poke balls if you miss them, or have a stock of 100 or something everyday and you can stock them up as usual with pokestops. Then they refresh each day. Or have infinite pokeballs and you can get the great or ultra balls from pokestops or purchase them. This would solve being empty of poke balls and losing that one Pokémon you have been searching for. But I know this would probably get ignored for greed... And please remove the speed cap completely. Yes its for safety, but people who are actually passengers and want to have fun are cut out because of the few dumb people who play and drive. Being a true Pokémon fan since the beginning, thats what my opinion is that they should improve for now. They had great potential but honestly its struggling. I hope I hit the points accurately.

Had a million chances to make a goof game. Still broken with a white screen. Sad.

Loading screen....crash. Spin Pokestop....crash. Throw Pokeball....crash. Pokemon caught....crash. Wake phone from sleep....crash. Toronto...Swinub, Swinub, Swinub, Swinub, Swinub, Swinub, Swinub. I swear...next update to this app and these issues are NOT addressed, this is getting deleted. Im so tired of this. (Yes, I have deleted it and reinstalled it. Yes, I even did a soft reset on my phone before AND after reinstalling.) - - - - - - Forget it. I deleted this game. I mustve crashed about 10 times just today. App running, phone in my pocket, went for a good walk, mid way my walk, checked the phone, app has crashed. Wasted walking distance. Caught a Pokemon, ball wiggling, ball wiggling...crash. Launched app, see Niantic Logo, crash. First Pokestop of the morning, spin, crash.

I have spent a lot of time playing this game with my wife and son and have had a lot of fun. Sadly with the new updates on my iPhone 6 it keeps on crashing and will freeze up every time making me unable to play.

This game is a lot of fun, but Niantic doesnt do anything to prevent the amount of cheating that kills the game. People are using GPS apps to "spoof" and get incredibly good for no effort, kills the fun for the rest of us and if the company doesnt do anything the rest of us will eventually delete the app.

The game doesnt let you get evolve items 7 streaks anymore :( only by spinning pokestops multiple times and they thought it was unfair? Just my opinion

My game keeps freezing and sometimes doesnt even want to open.

The spawning pokemon sound effect keeps playing and playing and playing when no new pokemon are spawning. Very annoying please fix

When I first started playing Pokémon GO it was fine but then it wouldnt let me login I just wish that it would I would not suggest this game to anyone who has impatient issues? I read this game three stars.

I dont even know where to start, I a big Pokemon fan and Niantic ruined the game for me. People dont play anymore so I cant take guns in my area by myself without using a lot of items which Im not allowed to get from the stops anymore because the game thinks Im going 20 mph by them when Im walking. This game is a huge mess, dont waste your time until they fix EVERYTHING. it takes about 3 minutes to load then Pokemon sporadically appear then disappear because the servers are re-calibrating. The game never knows where I am, meaning Im always 20ft away from where I actually am and where the game shows me on the map. Every Pokemon worth catching runs after 1 pokeball toss, not to mention having catch rates of >10%. And Pokemon do not shown everywhere anymore they only spawn at pokestops pretty much and this can get annoying when youre not in a populated area. Leaving me with no pokeball to catch all the Pokemon I dont see. I really cant stress this enough Niantic ruined a great game and they should hand the reigns over to a company who knows what theyre doing. Everything is so rushed and buggy is ridiculous for a prestigious name like Pokemon to partner with such an awful company who couldnt execute their ideas properly.
