This has been a fun game when its started I must admit it was a pain waiting for the servers but they fixed that ( I hope they keep it like this) but the speed lock is a new pain imagine that you are still a kid that loves Pokémon and got the game. The beginning was fine until Pokémon go had to set up the speed lock for the pokestops most parents arent ok with their kid roaming free looking for a computerized creature that you cant see. Most parents wont be ok with that so every time you are in the car and pass a poke stop you know you wont be able to get it so why waste your time. Another thing is the egg hatches I had a 10k and it turned out to be a hitmochan I could have gotten something good not something I catch every day. One last thing is that they have to add trainer battles why do we have to go to the poke gym just to battle they should add trainer battles so you dont have to get in your car to go to the gym battle while you can just battle with a friend at the park and save gas this game needs more fixing to be like the original games

Update by me 3/26/16 The speed thing is pissing me off. I understand your liability issue. Passengers may as well not play anymore. I was laying in my bed tonight and it asked if I was a passenger and everything disappeared. Im also tired of catching the same Pokémon every day. I dont get to travel the country. Rotate them out time to time. Listen I love the game. I know they plan to add trading from player to player. Ive read that the reason they dont want PvP or to allow us to actually battle new Pokemon we find is they dont really want to make it a full game for free.. Fine charge me. Please please please stop the speed lock. Parents do not pull into each spot. And it is dangerous driving in and out of parking lots when walking is not feasible.

Fun game but crashes constantly. Another bug is my balls will mysteriously vanish if I have spotty cell signal. BIGGEST issue: Gyms are constantly taken down by the same spoofers. Tonight I saw dozens of gyms in multiple towns taken down by the same guy at the same time. I dont even know why I bother trying anymore. Niantic doesnt respond on twitter.

Fix the problem with the app crashing while connected to the go plus.

App still crashes in background, negating much of the Go Pluss utility. While the single week of water Pokémon spawns was nice, all Ive otherwise seen since Gen 2 came out are Gen 1 and 2 commons-- before Gen 2 Id at least see a few rares. This is boring. The continued lack of a viable tracker makes a game with already little to play for (no end game) even worse. Nearby is just ad space for sponsored pokestops and it kills any chance of tracking with Sightings, which was already bad to begin with. Going back to 9 Pokémon Sightings tab would still be bad and involve too much triangulation. A small compass / hint with each Pokémon, added to that, would be good so people can hunt for Pokémon that are not at pokestops (which had been a large part of the fun). A viable in game tracker would make the use of 3rd party scanning apps drop and thus take a load off their servers, so I dont see why Niantic doesnt want to actually fix the tracker. If theyd test things outside of San Francisco where there isnt a pokestop literally at every block, theyd understand how bad things are. Spawns are not diverse at all. Im Pretty much only seeing commons, even with gen 2 out. Thats boring. The gym system is stale and needs a complete overhaul to remove the incentive for cheating / spoofing. Cheaters are killing the game and theyll always find ways around technical roadblocks-- the actual incentives / ways you get coins needs to completely be changed. A tiered gym system needs to be implemented. My kids no longer want to battle because they cant keep up with the CP arms race. Many simple improvements are still missing, such as being able to automatically choose the last Pokémon you battled with. Gen 2 has watered down any chance of getting the Gen 1s you want. The best way to address that would be to add a binoculars button so that you can scan for whichever generation you want to hunt for. The same potential spawn points could still be used that way.

Why dont you guys ever respond to your dam emails, horrible customer service. I am still not able to log in and my account is not banned. Why the hell arent you guys responding. At the moment Id give 0 stars if I could.

1) The update makes Pokemon about 80% harder to catch 2) Pokemon escape about 95% more often (especially rare ones) 3) instead of fixing the three foot tracking system glitch they decided to take it out completely grass doesnt help 4) THAT MEANS NO TRACKING POKEMON ANYMORE 5) Come on that one deserves two mentions right, to add to it I noticed that leaves dont rustle in areas where Pokemon are anymore 6) these are only the things Ive noticed so far in my first hour of playing it since the update

The game is good but it has been crashing a lot and sometimes freezes with a white screen on start up. Game crashes most when catching a lot of Pokémon in populated spawn areas.

Pokemon go is the best game ever!!! I play it everyday because of pokemon go i walk 5km a day, i love the speed thing, because stupid people play pokemon go and drive at the same time now they cant ?. BEST GAME EVER THANKS GUYS!

Okay, so the various bugs within the app have been crushed, and Im very grateful for that. Im also happy that were guaranteed a special item from our 7-day streak at a Poké-stop. My only issue is with the rework of the egg system. I get that there are some Pokémon that needed to be brought down to the lower tier, but I honestly see no reason as to why Onix was moved down from the 10 km to the 5 km eggs. It was already difficult to get him from the eggs as it is, and hes almost impossible to find out in the wild. And, he still requires 5 km to be walked for the buddy system, akin to the 10 km tier. Pinsir and Scyther were also moved down to the 5 km tier, but theyre considerably more common to find than Onix. My suggestion is to either increase the spawn rate for him or move him back into the 10 km eggs. Along with my complaint, I also have a suggestion: add more things to the avatar customization. What Id like to see is more types of clothing, different hairstyles (or the option to go bald), and some more headwear (like a football helmet, a goalies hockey mask, etc.) Im certain people would appreciate the vast amount of customization possibilities if this was brought in.

At first,this game was amazingly fun. It encouraged walking and there was an interesting Pokémon around every corner. However, the game has become the most boring diversion ever. I subtract one star for each of the following reasons: 1. I am on level 26. It takes way too much time to get poke balls to play the game in order to move ahead. The Pokestops do not yield enough items at a time to keep me interested in staying in the game. Getting items at the stops is tiresome, monotonous and no fun. We had a lovely few days when the Pokestops were yielding more and now we are back to almost nothing. 2. The Pokémon around here mostly consist of Pidgys, Rats, Caterpies, Nidorans, Nidorinos and Venonats. This becomes terribly monotonous especially when there is not much I of a reason to need these. It is time consuming, boring and no fun to manage them. They do bring stardust with them, which is needed for the game but going after them is so tiresome that not playing the game at all is seeming like a better option. 3. Skill in catching the Pokémon is not rewarded. Too many escape for no reason at all, even one skillfully shoots the ball. Again this is tiresome, monotonous and no fun. 4. The gyms have almost no meaning whatsoever. There is almost no reason to be in a gym, except for the experience points one can earn. Again, after a while the gyms are also pretty dull 5. It is too difficult to change ones team color, once we figure out what might have been better. Sooo, I would give no stars to this game, except that I am required to give at least one star. But the game deserves none.

I love it a lot! Cant wait till Gen 3 is released and I hope there is something big planned for Easter!

I keep coming back to this game trying to love it but the glitches are ridiculous. Im deleting until they figure out how to stop every pokestop from saying "try again later".

played ever since release. its had its ups and downs , however it has gotten more pokemon and more features over time. great game kill time and have fun outside in the sun.

Can you please make this available for lower iOS than 8? I dont want to have to chose between Pokemon and my phone actually working. Thanks.

Its great that you can find Pokemon at the Pokestop but how about the wild Pokemon. I miss them. Can we have a function that switch back and forth between Pokestop and wild Pokemon?

Total garbage. Apple refunded me everything from the past six months... $185. Niantic stinks.
