I cant update it, do I uninstall it to fix it?

I absolutely love this app and its allowing me to connect with my son through a franchise that I loved growing up. However, the largest nagging factor that keeps me from giving it five stars is the distance calculation when using the Apple Watch App. If you plan on going for a run or even a hike, the app will most often only give you half credit for the actual mileage it records. For example, just completed a 1.15km walk and received .7km credit. When I jog a 5k, I may only get credit for 1.6km. The end distance calculation is almost always correct, but the credit given is always short. Its extremely frustrating when all you need is 3k to hatch a 10k egg and run a 5k only to find out that you only got credit for half. Kudos for getting me to put more mileage on the treadmill, but please fix this.

I love Pokémon go a lot, but One thing I thought of was trading Pokémon with other players. That is my #1 wish though, an other is 1v1 trainer battles, that would be cool, others might think of more ideas along the way. The game is awesome and might just get better in the near future, now lets get to the game!

Loaded and reloaded the app 3 times. When I try to go to the gym where the Pokémon is; nothing happens at all.

Great game, very fun, very addictive! Great over all theme, having to walk, jog, run and go outside! Good updates! Only issue, it still crashes from time to time...

I like the idea of this, however, its not working yet. Please fix -

Im using iphone 5c (ios 9.2) and whenever I try to open the game, it crashes. 5 stars if this gets fixed.

For a Pokémon at a gym, I cant see any of their normal information, and tapping gym either does nothing if Im not in visual range of the gym, or it says walk closer if I am in a spot where I can see it from far away.

Since the newest update, July 19th 2017, I have been experiencing a number of issues with the game. In example: when I open the app, it almost instantly crashes, reading "no GPS signal." Also, when I try to use the app without WiFi, it crashes & reads "no internet connection." At this point I can no longer enjoy playing raid battles, collecting items from gyms or pokestops, or even catching Pokémon. Please fix!

For some reason whenever I try to go and play Pokémon it says that there is a new update and it makes me go check it out but when I do it says that there is no update

I live at the far end of nowhere. For me to find a Pokestop or gym it takes a minimum 15 minute drive. Once a three mile run only had two total Pokemon show up. I also live where the only Internet access I have comes through my cellular network, to get to a place where I have public internet access takes about 40 minutes. When the game constantly requires updates in order to play, I am left with the option of wasting my precious data or driving at least an hour and 20 minute round trip.* If I felt the updates were worthwhile, I wouldnt gripe and the game would receive a higher rating, many of the required updates do not improve functionality though and, in the most recent case, forced a download with an unneeded feature that doesnt function at all. I have been a Pokemon fan since Red and Blue hit the States and I have always valued the franchise for being inclusive of all people; I really wish Niantic would make the game more inclusive for people who live in a rural area. *Note to those arguing I should be on an unlimited plan: an unlimited plan would actually work against my ability to use a hotspot for homework, they cap hotspot access at 11GB/month and during the school year I need at least 1GB/day to run required software.

People play this game because it called Pokémon go not some other stuff go. The company knows it clearly and they are the only one doing it. Thats why, players, ur comment doesnt matter and they wont care. They dont caring about lose players cause as long as u like Pokémon you have to admit that you will want to play it. Because hey are the only one not because how successful they made the game. Like the stupid ash never grow up and never win the final, but who care? As long as it is called Pokémon. And as long as this is the only game with same type, u have no chose but accept it. But anyways, even if u dont play it anymore, theres still millions people all over the global playing it. And even if there is much more less, they just need to open more serves from other country. This game is not made for players to enjoy, but for the CEO to earn money. Well we are all humans, I believe most people will do same.

It drains my IPhone battery like , really, really fast. ?‍♂️

I have been playing Pokemon since I was about seven I think, and when I first got this game on my phone, I just loved it! This is a very different way of playing what Im used to on the ds-but not in a bad way! Id love for a few things to be added into the game-first of all-if its at all possible, something to cut down on battery drain-it is a real problem. Second, please consider adding more pokestops-especially in more remote areas. I think this would encourage people to walk more in their own neighbourhoods, because unless you live in a city, pokestops are few and far between. I drive about fifteen minutes to get to town when I play. Third, I would appreciate a bit of a story aspect to the game, the ds games are good in that aspect, and I think this is something you may have originally been working on, but may have had to push back because if more pressing issues. All in all, its a very nice game-encourages activity, socializing and fun!

Regular updates are great...however, you are required to update before you can play the game. While I understand why this is, its also frustrating when youre just about to ago out, and you find out the app needs an update after youre out of wifi range. I have lost out on a number of things because of this. Most of the updates offer vast improvementewwem; some are just bug fixes—annoying that you have to install the patch before you can play if you were of those whom the bug did not affect. The app overall still has its bugs and issues, but its Pokémon..45.

I cant sign in and havent been able to for months. Ive tried deleting and reinstalling the app a few times. No luck ?

Sucks when you open the app and its forcing an update, Im not updated 250mb on data and wifi is not always available. Theyre way too many updates to make this enjoyable to play.

As according to the new update, trainers should be able feed berries (although not as motivational) to Pokémon from the info screen. Its not working for me :| fix it?

It says there is a new update and there is not.
