My luck is complete trash

I have had some fun times with this game. I really have. However, recently, this game has caused me way more anger than satisfaction. The new raid boss, Moltres recently came out, and like any other player I have wanted badly to catch it. So I went out with my friends, thought Id give it a go. Didnt get it first try. Didnt get it second try. Third times the charm right? I am currently 7 raids dry of Moltres (meaning I beat the raid but fail to catch the legendary). I am also not horrible at throwing poke balls, consistently hitting the boss with great throws and golden razzberries. The problem with this system is that you only get 1 free raid attempt per day, otherwise you have to pay money. And that I have. I am stuck in this endless cycle of spending money to get more chances because I dont want to give up while Niantic sits back and laughs. Niantic, if someone there is reading this (which probably isnt happening), please have mercy on my soul and set me free from this endless turmoil so that I may have fun once again playing a game I used to love.
