What happened?

Latest big updates seem to have killed the game. Froze while hatching at least 6 times over the past 3 days and Ive lost out on whatever I was hatching. Journal says I hatched, but never received the Pokémon character- 2 of which were new things. Also all of my incubators say Im still at .33, but the distance to hatch os normal distance. Not cool.
