Little bit of refining?

Fun to play with friends now that raids are a thing. However Im not too happy about the new coin system. If I hold a gym for 500 min Im maxed out on pokecoins for the day and wont get them until my Pokémon comes back. But what if it doesnt come back for much longer? I miss out on a lot of coins. I say give players the coins they earned at midnight if a Pokémon is still in a gym so you dont miss out on a lot of coins
