New Algorithms drain battery!!!

I have an iPhone 7 plus and my battery drained to 35% after only 4 hours with the backlight fully dimmed. Please make the processing requirements better so the battery lasts longer. Id hate to have any smaller battery phone while playing.

Edit: Game has become somewhat glitchy for spawn points, gym battles, etc. One gym fight had a Blissey using its charge move 6 times in a row without any quick move between! Please stop focusing on restrictions to keep idiots from being stupid; start making the game fun again.

No matter how much you try, people will still be finding ways to exploit the game. Make it fun for the people who play it right by giving us a fighting chance. Particularly, please give back the ability to follow the footprints. The "real" ones that make the game a fun adventure. If someone trespasses or walks out in the road like an idiot, let the law handle them.
