No nearby in Japan and game keeps crashing

Im a level 32 user. Ive spent quite an amount of money in the game, hoping for it to get better. But theres not a single answer to why we dont have access to the nearby tracking system in Japan, and on the top of that, the last update keeps crashing the game. I cannot even open it. I turn it on, it loads and as soon as the screen goes on, boom!
This water event broke the game. Please fix it, and give it a time extension so all the users that have the same issue can enjoy it too. I lost my 7 day streak, I missed on all the new shiny pokemon, and missed all the chances of getting my hands on a Gyarados or a Lapras due to their spawns being risen by the event.
Its so frustrating that Nintic keeps ignoring Pokemon original country. Japan is here, and our gameplay right now, is far from being satisfactory.
