Buggy Apple Watch app

Update: watch only pretends to work now, it never updates the phone distance. Guess I should have been happy with the 1% credit they were giving me.
I can finally hatch eggs on my elliptical, but I walk 3 km and only get credit for .03 km. Even though the main step counter gets the distance it does not transfer to the incubator properly. Also, when is actual battle gameplay and trading coming to the smartphone?
