Pokémon GO App Reviews

Update 4/14 Ive been reading through some of the reviews and while I agree with some of the issues there plaguing the game Im fully in awe at some of the griping and downright idiotic reviews. First off, there is no requirement stating that you spin the 7 day streak. Second, the reviews are never in chronological order for any app ever! Im not exactly sure why but Im positive Niantic had nothing to do with it. Every app review section is formatted this way. Third, I was the same way as some of you. Extremely frustrating, always leaving one star, and was almost to the point of retiring my Pokémon trainer career. Forth, people complaining about PVP, trading, and etc. be patient. If they rush everything out in the first 9 months (yes the game has only been released for 9 months) of the game being released there would be nothing left to sustain gameplay long term. I love the Pokémon Go app. Ive been enjoying the game since launch. I never thought I would be so addicted to this game! Ive been all over my city to different landmarks, parks, stadiums, campuses, and even some old historic neighborhoods. Ive met some really cool people and made some new friends in the process. We all know there have been several issues, and bugs but Niantic has been trying their best to get everything working perfectly. Keep in mind this style of gaming (augmented reality) has never been done before with exception to Ingres. I used to get so mad dealing with the bugs in the game to the point I almost quit. But the problems are always fixed in a short amount of time. I guess what Im trying to say is just be patient. Niantic you do need to communicate with your players more and keep us informed. Let us know youre aware and working fixing bugs, and errors.

Fun game, but egg hatch glitch MUST be fixed. You spend time, energy, and resources for aspects of the game that do not deliver due to product error.

I really liked the game Niantic originally released. Yes, it was buggy, servers crashed constantly, but it was really fun when it worked. Then they killed the only in-app way to track Pokemon by removing the "footsteps" tracking feature (it just showed everything within an unspecified range). Game fans created third party websites to give other fans the only real way to find Pokemon. Niantic went after those sites and now most, if not all, have been shut down. Other hang ups include the very limited functionality of the Apple Watch companion app (almost never sends notifications about Pokestops and absolutely not sends notifications about Pokémon, even when notifications are toggled on), and constant crashes and disconnections from the Pokémon Go +. You have to keep the app running and phone turned on to stay connected to the Plus, which severely drains the battery, and diminishes the utility of the +. The Easter event is appreciated with the double xp and nice hatches. I hope Niantic changes, and starts treating their players with more respect (minor text fixes are BS changelog descriptions, and while they may think its cute, its rather insulting to those of us who want to know if we just got screwed over) because this should be a 5 star game and has so much potential.

Sorry to give u one star but the game dont want to open. I am a fan of Pokemon and Pokemon go is the best game ever but I cant play :( ?????. Plz fix it I really want to play Pokemon go. Fix it fast because I want to catch more Pokemon. Plz I will give u 5 star if u fix it. Plz fix it. My device is iPod 6 16gb running iOS 9.3.2 (13f69) I have install the latest version of Pokemon go after install it dont want to open it freeze in the loading screen. Plz plz fix it fast

U should really step up your game with gen 3 or something crazy so u see ppl walking around playing Pokémon go and new ban system

I used to play and was able to get into my account, but now I try and cannot get in. If I click "forgot password" I cant receive a new one because it takes me to a page that says "access denied" on the Pokémon website. Same thing with "forgot email". Ive tried contacting and heard nothing. Very frustrating and would like to have my account access back. I cant even register a new game without it saying access denied. Help would be great.

Now that Gen 2 is here and all the bugs are fixed this game is sooo much better. It would be great if they could work in an offline version and battling and trading options!

Horrible I make a pass and it doesnt work. Says nope. Sucks

I love this game so much I can play it for hours and it barely wastes my internet. Itll definitely waste your battery but with a few battery packs youll survive! My only con is is how I barely get any revives but a bulk load of potions! Its not like we can buy it. :/ I really hope they go forward and hopefully get battling between players up and running soon.

I LUV Pokémon go and it isnt a waste of time BECAUSE i catch Pokémon to and from school!! YALL R THE BEST ( but ur a government spy tool)

I absolutely love this app. It keeps me busy when Im bored, gets me out of the house and walking, and theres really cool events that help you progress in the game and mixes things up. With every update, this app gets better and better! My only suggestion would be to the pokédex, so that we can rotate the pokémon and see them 360. Thank you!

I cant do the eggstavansa event because it wont let me log in! Please help

Since last iOS update gps wont work

Ive been playing this game since it came out I bought the Pokémon go plus 3 months ago along with a Samsung G7 it paired fine. Got the iPhone 7 plus and the Pokémon go plus will not connect to it. I would to use my watch since I paid for it. Please fix

Okay Im not going to be harsh this apps is just kinda useless,its not for me.Some Pokémon games were good but this is just not the best I give it a 1/5 star rating :/ Waste of time tbh

I am throughly disappointed in niantic not updating the game.. gen 2 is ok but the tracking is still not there

iwatch does NOT sync data to phone, I can walk 15km and it wont even give me .01km on the game. Watch app is POINTLESS!!! The app ONLY WORKS FOR THE FIRST TIME, then you need to delete the game from phone and watch and reinstall it EVERY TIME you want the distance to actually sync up. The speeds are completely terrible, I usually play while running around or riding my bike, for some reason even those are too fast for this game to work because it makes all Pokémon and even pokestops not accessible, and no im not riding my bike or running faster then 17mph. Get rid of the low speed, at least to 25 or something because I should be able to run or ride my bike as fast as I can and this game should still work. Secondly, game constantly glitches, causing it to shutdown on me sometimes just starting the game, sometimes while trying to catch a Pokémon, sometimes just clicking on the wild Pokémon. There is zero reason for this game to be having this many issues still...
