Issues while in the car

I do not use this app while driving. I would like to start with that. I typically use it while my husband is driving. I used to be able to collect from stops as we drove by but I am having an issue with it just saying try again. Of course I cant try again because we have already driven by. I love all the new Pokémon and Im excited about the legendary Pokémon but this issue needs to be fixed.
