Why???

I love hunting for Pokémon with friends, and I am only level 33, but it seems like the game punishes players who have spent their stardust. Since "buddies" were introduced I have only walked a Snorlax, and have 2 just over 3,000 cp. When I put them in a gym their CP depletes so much faster than the lower cp Pokémon also in the gym. Doesnt make sense that stronger Pokémon are worse.

Gym rework isnt great. No point in networking with your team to take gyms anymore, so one of the best social aspects has been eliminated. That being said the raids introduce a new social aspect which is cool, but too easy to get rare Pokémon. Muk was the last Gen One I needed, and the thrill of the hunt was taken away now that I see a few gyms a week with him as the boss. Also the TMs make it too easy for everyone to have same move set. Grinding candy at nests and then hoping you get the move set you wanted was half the fun. When you didnt, well time to grind another 50 or 125 candy to try again.

Too many games are too easy now. This game had challenging aspects to it. Now all the complainers and lazy trainers have been handed everything they wanted. This used to be a game where youd have to move to advance, play a lot to get those strong Pokémon. Strong Pokémon mean nothing now. Cool. A game that people said had no point or end "goal" has even less point. Reward low level Pokémon. Punish Pokémon who have received lots of love, dust, and candy. Now with gym raids and TMs people can easily succeed sitting in their car or on their couch.
