Enjoy the game, trouble logging in

I have really enjoyed playing this game and appreciate those responsible for developing a Pokémon app.

An issue I have been having for a while now is that I cant log into the game. I had been using a gmail account but was locked out. Trying to log back in, the app wont load. The log in returns me to the log in screen where Im prompted to log in again, and this repeats indefinitely.

Hopefully there is a solution to this issue so that I can return to enjoying the game and catching all the new Pokémon.
