After the new car smell wears off, its pretty clear that theres hardly an incentive to play gyms anymore. Its decidedly worse. I like that theyve made it more competitive but thats about it. Theres still the mindless screen tap and swipe and the rewards are paltry. You get so much less in the new system. No stardust. 50 coin cap. Motivation drain. Why would anyone want to battle in gyms anymore? I agree with others that the new reward system is nothing more than an attempt to squeeze you into a money grab. Some of this could be fixed if they would offer an initial taking-down-of-a-gym reward. You spend all this time and items taking it down and if someone kicks you out 10 min later, youre lucky to get 1 measly coin. If you improve gameplay, youll get more in app purchases. After you delve deeper into the changes, youll wonder if the developers even play the game.

OK, I actually love this game. There isnt much around our house (rural area), but Im happy pulling it up when Im near a park and walking around for some fresh air while I catch some Pokémon and spin away at the Pokestops. (I mostly play while taking the dog on walks). I also love getting to new areas and finding the potential for new or unique Pokémon I dont typically find - for instance a Grimer when downtown or a herd of goofy giraffe things at a park up north. The issue is the new gym system. Its very broken and discourages me from wanting to battle and/or leave a decent Pokémon. At first I was excited, as the ten deep gyms were too intimidating, but then I made the fatal error of going on a quest around town and putting my best Pokémon in 5 gyms expecting an awesome payout. I was stuck from receiving any coins for over a week until my final Pokémon was sprung. The final payout was something like 63 coins for a week long wait while I honestly felt like my Ryhorn was being held captive. Keep making things fresh with events like your water festivals, as it does get tedious with nothing new to look forward to. But seriously the gym thing must be fixed. If my guy is at a gym for over a week, I should get something for his longevity, especially since I will not be leaving a second Pokémon anywhere until he is sprung. Oh, and the raids have been a fun addition. I rarely have anyone with me to take on the biggies, but I do appreciate that I can take on some of the smaller raids and be rewarded.

I tried to play it on iPad but it wouldnt work. It only works on phones and I dont have one, so plz make this work on iPad!

This game is a lot of fun but, there is no incentive to do gyms or raids. There used to be incentive to hold down gyms to get a few coins everyday. When u chose to get the free coins daily, but now I am lucky if my Pokémon get kicked to get the coins. So now theres raids that u use a pass for but u have to use it to see if theres anyone even in there doing the raid and I live in a small town so lucky if 1 person comes with me. Lets just say that if ur not a big YouTuber ur not doing a 20 man raid. Raids just a bad idea ATM. There might be millions of people playing this spread through the world. But there is billions of people not. There just has to be a raid que for everyone doing a raid or raids will slowly die out. I still like hunting Pokémon but right now theres no need. Just need spoofers back so I get kicked out of gyms more often and see them in raids here or there.

I hated the update because it makes you have no gyms! What the heck dude! ????☹️???

Its still lacking many of the features that they promised and its been nearly a year

i couldnt fight a gym because it kept crashing.

I put like three Pokémon in gyms at a time and only one brings back coins and its always 50 coins so make the coin cap to 150 or above and I will be much happier. Also in canon City, my town I rarely catch new Pokémon all I see is spinarks and ratatats please fix. Alsooooo make it where you can get more than 1 raid pass a day.

This is the worst app ever

When Im trying to catch a Pokémon and the ball touches them they sometimes dont go in the ball. Why?

Positives: Gym update is great and I get way more coins than I did under the old system. Raids, I like. Motivation, I also like (for one thing, its a good way to get rid of the extra razzberries I always have lying around). Negatives: Frequent crashes, constantly reloads when I have to switch over to another app and come back. Full reload, every time. Thats just annoying, though apparently not enough to stop me from playing. Hahaha. Cheers!

Ive bought this game on my other devices and I could sign into my account with google but on my phone I can only sign up with the Pokémon trainer club. I was really looking forward to being able to play Pokémon go on my phone.... but whaddoo I get in return? FIRETAILIS ACCOUNT NOT BEING ABLE TO BE USED!!!????

So... idk if anyone else is having this problem, but when my Pokémon returned to me from the gym it was in for 4 days I never received any coins. This happened twice yesterday while my phone was on airplane mode and Ive tried deleting the app, resetting my phone. Nothing.

We all know its a great game. But it needs more.. A way to get the full Pokemon experience of collecting Pokemon , raising Pokemon, training, and proving who really is the best. Challenging your friends to a duel... A way to see nearby players and requesting a fight. The final piece for success for this game. Update: I recently re-downloaded the game after a while and of course Ive forgotten my password. But when I try to go reset my password the browser cant find the link to the page. I get a " failed to find the server" message. Help

I have gotten this app before and it worked like a charm but my brother deleted it so I got it again but nothing is working! Safari just keeps on reloading and the Gps signal wont work

Its pretty good.

Every time something that could be good is added it is accompanied by a slew of bugs and terrible design decisions. Coins are broken. You can have a Pokémon on a gym for days only to come back with no coins because you already hit your 50 coins from another gym. You have to be lucky for your Pokémon to get kicked out at just the right moment to actually get coins. The gym design is almost there but the fact that 5 people get to put Pokémon on a gym without doing anything is dumb. Raids are neat but will die in about a week when the hype dies down which will make it impossible to do the good raids in rural areas. Then there are all the crashes. Do you even test the app? The app crashes every five minutes. Maybe someday I can give it more than one star.

When I first got on I was on top of my 3 Pokémon so I could not catch one! I tried every thing even walking around nothing will do it! I really hope you Change this soon other wise Im deleting the app add it is quite sad because I used to love this game now Im not so sure! So please fix this please please please!And this is why Im giving it a one star rating!

It f*****g wont let me in idk what happened but I want this to be fix all it says is log into the Pokemon club I want to get to my old account the hell could i plz have it back I dont know if I got blocked but I would like to get playing again
